We are accepting applications for medical first responders and support members to help with events and fundraisers.
You do not have to have any formal training to apply, just a desire to help your community and willingness to attend meetings and trainings.
We do have minimum requirements for new members who are applying for first responder positions. You will have to become American Heart Association certified in CPR/AED/First Aid within the first 90 days (probation period) and become Texas certified as an Emergency Care Attendant within a year. These deadlines can be extended if needed on a case by case basis. The Department will cover the cost of these courses.
