Cross Timbers Emergency Response Team The following pictures are from incidents that our Department responded to. We do not or will not authorize them to be copied or altered in any form. These pictures are used by our Department in training and critique and some may be used to show the public what our members encounter in the field. Some of these pictures may depict scenes of traumatic events. Sunday January 18, 2009. Wreck on Hwy 281 North of Morgan Mill. One person was injured and transported to a Metroplex Trauma Center by AirEvac Helicopter Ambulance. The Morgan Mill Vol. Fire Department did a great job and had to use the "jaws of life" to remove the patient from the vehicle. Departments who responded were Cross Timbers Emergency Response Team, Morgan Mill Vol. Fire Department, Erath County EMS, Erath County Fire Department, Erath County Sheriff's Office, DPS and AirEvac. Pictures taken by: Misty Miller     Tuesday January 27,2009 Wreck on Hwy 281 North of Stephenville. One person was injured and taken to a local hospital by Erath County EMS. Erath County Fire Department had to remove the front windshield to get the patient out. Departments who responded were Cross Timbers Emergency Response Team, Erath County EMS, Erath County Fire Department and DPS. Pictures taken by: Misty Miller Sunday February 15, 2009 Wreck on Hwy 377 South of Bluff Dale. Two persons were fatally injured and one person was taken to a Metroplex Trauma Center by LifeStar5 and later died. Bluff Dale Vol. Fire Department and Erath County Fire Department had to use the "jaws of life" to remove one of the victims. Departments who responded were Cross Timbers Emergency Response Team, Bluff Dale Vol. Fire Department, Erath County EMS, Erath County Fire Department, Erath County Sheriff's Office, DPS and LifeStar5. Pictures taken by: Misty Miller  08-14-2009 Truck tractor/trailer rollover and spill on FM205. Most of the load of medicated deer feed ended up having to be shoveled out so that the vehicle could be rolled back upright.  08-29-2009 Cross Timbers ERT provided first aid & EMS to the Rough Creek Lodge for a music festival.  09-09-2009 Motor Vehicle Accident on Hwy 67 towards Glen Rose. There were no injuries when a truck pulling a trailer with a backhoe on it lost control and rolled over.  09-17-2009 Cross Timbers ERT provided first aid & EMS for the 2009 Larry Joe Taylor Rhymes & Vines Music Festival.  11-15-2009 CareFlite 5 from Granbury came to TacPro Shooting Center and taught a Landing Zone Safety course for a Lone Star Medics First Aid class. Personnel from Cross Timbers ERT, Morgan Mill VFD and Erath County EMS attended for a refesher and Continuing Education credit.  |
